Mr. Presnell has served as a fire protection engineer for PDT since 1998.  He has a Bachelor of Science Degree  in Industrial Engineering from the University of Tennessee, and an Associate in Applied Science in Computer Integrated Drafting and Design from Pellissippi State Technical Community College in Knoxville, TN.  He is a registered professional engineer in Tennessee, North Carolina, and Texas.

Mr. Presnell has extensive experience in designing fire detection and alarm systems including upgrades at nuclear power plants and DOE-owned facilities.  He also provides consulting and design services for educational, assembly, and commercial facilities.

Mr. Presnell’s areas of specialization include:  Fire Detection and Alarm Design, Fire Suppression Design, Life Safety Code Analysis, Hydraulic Calculations, AutoCAD, MicroStation, and Visual Graphics.
